Eternity Scarf
$29
Indigenous Designs: Fashion trends come and go, but for Scott
Leonard and Matt Reynolds the founders of Indigenous, the vision to style the
world in organic, fair trade fashion were founded over thirteen years ago. Back
in 1993 on a trip to South America, Scotty encountered the priceless beauty of
the local artisans. The richness of the culture and amazing knitting techniques
prompted him to bring back more than a souvenir to his Northern California
home. He returned with a vision to pioneer a new business model that would
invite each of us to wear our commitment to the people and environment.

Want to keep your neck toasty warm
without your scarf ends hanging? The Eternity scarf is sewn as one large loop
with no ends. Just slip it over your head and even in the windiest conditions
you won't lose it. This scarf is an incredibly soft blend of organic cotton
with a touch of peace silk* measuring 44 inch circle (22 inches lying flat) by
6 inches wide. Fabric is 95% Organic
Cotton, 5% Silk* with suggested care of hand washing in cold water and drying
dry flat. Scarf is hand made in Peru meets
all Fair Trade Federation guidelines.
*Please note, Indigenous Designs uses
"peace silk" a process of obtaining the silk fibers while preserving
the silkworms and allowing the adult moths to emerge rather than killing them
in the traditional manner.
