Indigenous Designs: Fashion trends come and go, but for Scott Leonard and Matt Reynolds the founders of Indigenous, the vision to style the world in organic, fair trade fashion were founded over thirteen years ago. Back in 1993 on a trip to South America, Scotty encountered the priceless beauty of the local artisans. The richness of the culture and amazing knitting techniques prompted him to bring back more than a souvenir to his Northern California home. He returned with a vision to pioneer a new business model that would invite each of us to wear our commitment to the people and environment.

This adorable scarf does double eco-duty. After cutting the patterns for their fair trade, organic clothing, Indigenous Designs found themselves with long strips of gorgeous organic cotton scrap. They've sewn the long strips together with decorative stitching to create this adorable Ruched Scarf while minimizing even further their already light footprint. Cute edge fringe adds a finishing touch. Scarf is one size measuring approximately 55" long and 14" wide made of 100% Organic Cotton Jersey. Suggested care is to hand wash cold, and dry flat. Scarf is made in Peru using Peruvian-grown organic cotton meeting all Fair Trade Federation guidelines.
