SOS from Texas: The Oldham family has been growing cotton in Texas for over hundred years using organic farming practices. The family farm has been certified organic by the Texas Department of Agriculture since 1992. The yarn is knitted and sewn in Caroline under sweatshop free conditions at a fair wage.

A unique tote bag designed by Shari at Planet Ink; sold as a blank without any print or decoration. The bag is made from 100% SOS organic cotton jersey fabric and the handles are rib reinforced holes through the bag. This patterned after a feedbag used by the Oldham family to slip over their mule's ears. Bag holds 20-30 lbs. and you can fold it up and put in purse or pocket. Shown with print but priced here as blank this bag is an excellent base for craft fair decorating. Tote has not been bleached or dyed; will have some shrinkage when washed. The natural color varies from year to year and is not bleached or dyed to maintain the health benefits of a truly organic fabric. Just wash, shrink, color, sew and design away. There is so many things you can do with this organic bag for. Grocery shopping, hobby decorating, diaper bag and etc. The possibilities are endless. The bag is made in Carolina and cotton is grown on the SOS Texas Certified Organic Cotton farm. This Bib is “Made in USA” from field plant to finish.
