One of the founders, Scott Leonard, visited South American and encountered the priceless beauty of local Artisans. The richness of the many cultures and knitting techniques encouraged him to bring this information to his California home to create Indigenous Designs. Indigenous Designs has created a network of artisan work from around the world that provides:

Find your creativity in this stunning extra long cardigan with ruffles knit into the design. Cabling runs down the arms and front. Gentle ruffles adorn the collar, front and bottom hems, and sleeves. 3 hidden buttons keep it closed. Sweater measures 30" from shoulder to hem. Sweater is available in medium and large of 100% Organic Cotton. Suggested care is to hand wash and dry flat. Each sweater is individually hand loomed in Peru at a knitting cooperative that respects and promotes indigenous artisans meeting all Fair Trade Federation guidelines.

[Pictures can hardly do this justice due to its dark color. It is hand loomed from organic novelty yarn with multi fiber twists that make it super soft and thick without being overly heavy. The sweater is an actual conversation piece! We assure you, you won't be disappointed.]
